Joycie Darbonne Guidry

Joycie Darbonne Guidry passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at the age of 76.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at 3:00 PM at St. Thomas
More Catholic Church. Father Clinton Sensat will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Eunice.
Joycie is survived one son, Richard Miller and wife Paula of Eunice; one daughter, Tracy Dupre and
husband Phillip of Ville Platte; three brothers, Elton Darbonne of Eunice, Melvin Darbonne of Basile,
and Delton Darbonne of Basile; one step-daughter, Lisa Johnson of Eunice; one daughter-in-law, Barbara
Miller of Eunice; ten grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Joycie was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Darbonne and Bernadette Bellow Darbonne; her first
husband, Elvie Miller; her second husband, Hilbert Guidry; one son, Allen Miller; one daughter, Kathy Miller;
one sister, Agnes Thibodeaux; three brothers, Linus Darbonne, Elias Darbonne, and Howard Darbonne.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight)
at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed Monday night at 6:00 PM by Deacon David Guillory.
The funeral home will reopen on Tuesday for visitation at 8:00 AM until the time of service.
Quirk & Son Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
