Kenneth Young

Kenneth Wayne Young died on the morning of Monday, February 17, 2014 at his home at the age of 74. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Tim Moffett officiating.
He worked for the Eunice Fire Department for many years then became employed at Texas Gas, where he retired.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth C. Young of Eunice; three daughters, Sandra Y. David and husband, Blaine of Eunice, Rebecca “Becky” Y. Bell and husband, Tommy of Lafayette, and Cynthia Y. Sittig of Eunice; five grandchildren, Brandy David, Lacy Oliver, Kenny David, Stephen Sittig and Ashley Sittig; and five great-grandchildren, Steven, Ethan, Christopher, Lillian and Andrew.
He iwas preceded in death by hisparents, Everett and Lillian LeJeune Young; sister, Sybil Hayes; and great -randson, Gavin David.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, February 18th from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, February 19th from 8:00 am until time of services.
