Kevin Edwards, Sr.

Visitation for Kevin P. Edwards, Sr., 47, will be on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 8:00 am to 10:45 am with funeral services following at 11:00 am, both at New Zion Baptist Church, 251 Nimitz St., Eunice, LA, with the Reverend Allen W. Ben officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Eunice.
He died on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 12:28 am at Lafayette General Hospital.
He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and a graduate of Eunice High. He was a bail bondsman agent for Ferangues Bail Bonding Company of Opelousas.
Survivors include: his spouse, Nancy Guillory Edwards of Eunice; two sons, Kevin P. Edwards, Jr. of Eunice and Eric Guillory of Lafayette; one daughter, Brittany Guillory of Eunice; two brothers, Felton Neville of Eunice, and Linus Vallare of San Francisco, Calif.; four sisters: Merle Denita Day of Baton Rouge, Rose Guillory of Basile, Bobby Thomas of Lafayette, and Linda Johnson of San Francisco; and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James Vallare and Geraldine E. Brown; his brother: David Coward; his maternal grandparents: Lincoln and Myrtle S. Edwards, Sr.; paternal grandparents: Cyoiaque Vallare and Artina G. Vallare.
Pallbearers will be: Eric Guillory, Marquis Hooker, Tyrone Guillory, Bryant Neville, Webster Vallare, James S. Brignac, Jaymes Guillory and Greg Lewis.
