Lillian Heinen Barron

KINDER ~ A wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Lillian Heinen Barron will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lillian passed away on August 8, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 84.
A mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice with Father Marshall Boulet celebrant.
She was a homemaker and devoted her life to the love and care of her family. She loved to travel and was even in Rome when the Pope died and viewed his body. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Her favorite past time was attending her families sporting activities and she was a #1 cheerleader for her grandkids. She loved the casino, playing cards, Pokeno, and Cadillac. She also enjoyed helping others. She was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Ladies Alter Society.
She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her son, David Barron and his wife, Katy of Kinder and her daughters, Kathy Henderson and her husband, Neil of Eunice, Pat Dietz and her companion, Tommy Barrow of Eunice, Jeannie Blackwell and her husband, Ricky of Sulphur, Nancy Ruiz and her husband, Dan of College Station, Texas, Tracy Barron of Elton and Toni Barron and her companion, Jimmy Flagan of Sulphur. She was blessed with sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She know rests in heaven with her beloved husband, Bill Barron, her grandson, Marcus Carrier, her parents, P.J. “Sam” and Annie Heinen, her sister, Helen Landry, brothers, Louis Heinen, James Heinen and Henry Heinen and her son-in-law, Hubert Dietz.
At the request of the family, visitation was held at Rush Funeral Home, Kinder on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary and celebration of life at 6:00 p.m. Visitation resumed on Monday, August 10, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
