Mary 'Liz' Lavergne

Mary "Liz" Gilliland Lavergne died on Wednesday February 12, 2014 at the age of 62.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday February 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Msg. Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Krystal Fontenot and her husband Scott of Eunice, and Mitzi Caudle and her husband David of Alabama; one sister, Shirley Jean Kelsey of Georgia; two brothers, Bobby Gilliland and his wife Peggy, and Randall Gilliland and his wife Shirley, both of Alabama; four grandchildren, Mason Fontenot, Austen Fontenot, Keesha Blackman, and Jasmine Wallin; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Melda Hayes Gilliland; and her husband, Emery Lavergne.
Visitation will be held on Friday February 14, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed by Msg. Robert Romero at 6:00 p.m. that evening. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday for visitation until time of services.
