Mr. Linton Common

EUNICE ~ Visitation for Mr. Linton Common, 87, will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 11:00 am to 1:30 p.m. at Frank Brothers Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm at St. Mathilda Catholic Church in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate for the services. Interment will follow in the St. Mathilda Catholic Church Cemetery.
Mr. Linton passed away on November 14, 2015 at 2:20 pm at Eunice Extended Care Hospital.
Mr. Linton served his country in the Military and worked for H. Brown Construction Co. for many years.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Essie Janice Common of Eunice; four sons: Freddie Common of Eunice, Larry Common of Hephzibah, GA, Preston Common of Basile, and Joshua Common, Sr., of Lake Charles; three daughters: Lerrie Rougeau of Lake Charles, Lisa Hopkins of Brentwood, TX, and Mary Jones of Lake Charles; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Linton is preceded in death by his parents, Deville and Mary Common; one daughter, Barbara Common; and one great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be: James Rougeau, Jr., Larry Common, Preston Common, Joshua Common, Sr., Kalvin Common and Derick Jones.
