Ruth Manuel

Ruth Miller Manuel, 87, died on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Dustin Dought as Celebrant.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America for 25 years and the Bulb and Blossom Garden Club.
Survivors include three sons, Craig Manuel and wife, Jackie, Johnny Manuel and wife, Cheryl, and Dwayne Manuel and wife, Pat, all of Eunice; daughter, Janet Manuel Prudhomme and husband, Floyd, Jr. “Butch” of Eunice; 10 grandchildren, Johnnie Ruth Naquin, Jessica Dischler, Frankie Podrat, Donovan Shane Manuel, Michael Manuel, Eric Manuel, Garrett Manuel, Alex Prudhomme, Lathan Prudhomme and Cole Prudhomme; and nine great-grandchildren, Logan Dischler, Peyton Naquin, Madison Naquin, Leigha Dischler, Grace Manuel, Colin Manuel, Reagan Victoria Manuel, Regan Olivia Manuel and Kyndal Manuel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny L. Manuel, parents, Alexon and Hazel Miller; and brother, Donald Miller.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, March 17th from 11 am until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, March 18th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a rosary at 7:00 pm Monday evening. The Catholic Daughters of America will recite a rosary at 11:00 am Tuesday morning.
