ULL professor
LAFAYETTE – Services were Dec. 13 for ULL professor Dr. Surendra Dwivedi. He died Dec. 6 at age 69.
He held the Chair position, professor of manufacturing in ULL’s College of Engineering and director of Virtual Reality and Product Realization Lab.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church for Joe Turner, 61. Burial will follow at St. Thomas More Cemetery. Father Cedric Sonnier will officiate.
Marshal, Gen. Eisenhower aide
WISNER – Services for long-time town marshal and aide to Gen. Dwight Eisenhower during World War II Eldon Brown, Jr. will be Dec. 12. He died Dec. 8 at age 97 of injuries sustained when his truck was rear-ended.
Nearrel "Wayne" Hebert died on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at the age of 68.

Carmen Joseph Miller, Jr. died on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the age of 58.
