Educator, ex-mayor
ALBANY – Services for retired educator and former mayor Louis Bartus are Oct. 28. He died Oct. 23 at age 88.
Earline Guillory died on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Oaklane Rehabilitation and Wellness Center at the age of 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt.
Mary Gussie Miller died on October 21, 2014 at age 92.
She worked at Eunice Superette Slaughter House for more than 40 years.
She is survived by a host of relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lydia and Horace Miller, Sr. and 12 siblings.
Donald Wayne Hebert died on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at the age of 54.
Funeral Services were held on Friday, October 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral
Home in Eunice. Pastor Woody Gunnels will officiate. Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
Language professor, French education advocate
WEST MONROE – Services for former dean of the College of Liberal Arts at UL Monroe and noted French education advocate Dr. Carlos Fandal will be Oct. 24. He died Oct. 21 at age 76.
