BATON ROUGE – Services for former legislator Jewel Newman will be Oct. 11. He died Oct. 4 at age 93.
Priscilla “Pat” Savoy, 87, died on October 6, 2014 in Baton Rouge at the Clarity Crossover Hospice House.
Ethel Theresa Young died on the morning of Tuesday, October 07, 2014 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria at the age of 68.

NEW IBERIA – Services for long-time priest the Rev. Joseph Matt will be Oct. 9. He died Oct. 5 at age 96.
Joseph Kirk Bihm died on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at his home at the age of 52. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
