Judge Marilyn Castle visits Summit Group

District Judge Marilyn Castle visited the Summit Group at the Rice Palace in Crowley on April 16 to discuss her upcoming race for the State Supreme Court. Her district includes Lafayette, Acadia, Vermilion, Jeff Davis, St. Landry, Avoyelles, Calcasieu and Cameron parishes. Judge Castle has the reputation of being fair to all parties in her court; thus assuring all defendants that they will get a fair and unbiased hearing based on the facts, evidence and applicable law that is so vital to the integrity of our judicial system. She outlined the duties and responsibilities of a Supreme Court Justice and answered all questions from the group.
