Undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree diplomas will be conferred during the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Summer 2015 Commencement ceremony.
The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. in the Convention Center adjacent to the Cajundome, in Exhibit Hall B on the first floor.
The University of Louisiana System board approved tuition increases for eight of its universities for 2015-16 under the GRAD Act of 2010. The act allows schools to raise tuition based on performance goals.
A 10 percent increase was approved for UL Lafayette.

Cajun folklorist Barry Jean Ancelet will become the first UL Lafayette faculty member to be honored by an invitation to give a “last lecture.”
UL Lafayette’s Fête de la Terre 2015 festival will feature a week’s worth of activities and events to raise awareness about sound environmental and recycling practices.
