Biessenberger, Billeaud exchange vows during Nuptial Mass

Aimee Kaye Biessenberger and Brennan Jules Billeaud were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on October 11 at Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church in Lafayette. Father Keith Landry officiated the Nuptial Mass and Mr. Timothy Marcantel served as deacon.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Scott Biessenberger of Lafayette. Mrs. Biessenberger is the former Nadine Leigh Hebert of Lafayette. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland J. Hebert of Lafayette. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Rayford L. Biessenberger of Eunice.
Aimee is a graduate of Saint Thomas More Catholic High School. She earned a Bachelor of General Studies Degree from the University of Louisiana. She is employed with a local web design and marketing management company, Wide Web Marketing.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. “Popie” Billeaud of Lafayette. Mrs. Billeaud is Marcelle Tessier of Abbeville. The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. “Blue” Tessier of Abbeville. His paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Manning “Bozo” Billeaud of Lafayette.
Brennan is a graduate of Saint Thomas More Catholic High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana and is a petroleum landman.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a pearl ivory silk taffeta Anne Barge gown featuring a pin tuck detailed bodice throughout a slightly curved neckline with accented pin tuck details.
The dress was a classic A-line with pockets falling from the natural waist adorned with an embellished belt accented by tiny pearls and Swarovski crystals. The floor length skirt was finished with a sweeping chapel length train.
The bride chose a cathedral length finished-edge veil to complete her look.  The groom gave the bride a wedding band designed to incorporate her mother’s original wedding ring.
The bride carried blush- colored English garden roses tied with a hand painted heart, worn in the bride’s veil for her Sacrament of First Communion.
Miss Adele Leigh Ory attended her Godmother as maid of honor. Mrs. Melanie Jean Nettles Biessenberger attended her sister-in-law as matron of honor.  Bridesmaids were Miss Emily Elizabeth Ory, cousin of the bride, and Miss Heather Michelle Chustz, friend of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Kaye Leigh Claire LaVergne, daughter of the bride. Amelie Anne Broussard and Camille Catherine Broussard, cousins of the groom, served as flower girls.  
Dr. Benjamin Thomas Degatur, friend of the groom attended as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Stuart François Billeaud, brother of the groom, and both brothers of the bride, Mr. Seth David Biessenberger and Mr. Christopher Cain Biessenberger.  The junior groomsmen were Adam Michael Ory, cousin of the bride and Cameron David Biessenberger, nephew of the bride.  Bennett Paul Billeaud, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.
Mr. Christopher Michael Dugas and Mr. Kenneth John Hernandez friends of the groom served as ushers.
A reception was held at Oakbourne Country Club.  The couple will make their home in Lafayette.
