Fontenot, Setliff exchange vows during Nuptial Mass ceremony

The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington served as the setting for the evening Nuptial Mass uniting Kaycie Nicole Fontenot and Nicholas Danny Setliff in Holy Matrimony.
The ceremony was held Saturday, May 28 at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Jared Suire officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Sherry and Robert Clark of Eunice and Andy and Beverly Fontenot of Port Barre. The groom is the son of Stanley and Lori Setliff of Forest Hill.
Readers during the ceremony were Ellen Setliff Hodge, sister of the groom; and Linda LeJeune Long, aunt of the groom.
The bride, given away by her father, was stunning in a romantic Allure gown featuring a V-neckline, sleeveless fitted bodice covered in lace embroidery and appliques. The back of the dress featured a soft romantic back adorned with a stunning lace applique and embroidery design. The A-line skirt featured a tulle fabric and a chapel-length train. The waist was accented with a lace applique bridal sash, overlayed with pearls and sequins.
The bride chose a Roman cathedral length veil as her headpiece and carried a bouquet of Juliet garden roses, white O’Hara garden roses and antique green hydrangeas accented with lavender.
Serving as maid of honor was Amanda Redlich of Eunice, sister of the bride; and Katilyn Townley of Elmer, sister of the groom, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids included Katie Johnson of Leonville, childhood friend of the bride; Kaylyn Martin of Chalmette, college friend of the bride; Tess Dowdle of Anacocco, college friend of the bride; Sarah Baggett of Elizabeth, college friend of the bride; and Rebekah Ryder of Eunice, sister of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid.
The attendants wore lavender chiffon strapless sweetheart pleated bodice, empire waist dresses accented with a flowing sweep train. The junior bridesmaid wore a matching single flower embellished strap dress.
Serving as flower girls were Sydney Hodge, niece of the groom, daughter of Ellen and Brandon Hodge of Houston, Texas; Natalie Setliff, niece of the groom, daughter of Paul and Alisha Setliff of Sieper; and minature bride was Piper Redlich, niece of the bride, daughter of Amanda Fontenot Redlich of Eunice.
Ring bearers were Daniel Setliff, nephew of the groom, son of Paul and Alisha Setliff of Seiper; and Landon Townley, nephew of the groom, son of Kaitlyn and Devin Townley of Dimer.
Best man was Paul Setliff of Sieper, brother- in-law of the groom.
Groomsmen included Devin Townley of Elmer, brother-in-law of the groom, Chad Barton, Jr. of Elmer, Cody Tumage of Pineville, Hunter Brister of Gardner, all friends of the groom; and Andrew Thompson of Winnfield, college friend of the groom.
The groomsmen wore steel gray tuxedos with a matching vest and charcoal tie and a white shirt.
Ushers during the ceremony were Garrett Mitchell of Elmer, and John Broughton of Natchitoches, both friends of the groom.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Wolff Ballroom in Washington.
The bride is a graduate of Eunice High School, and Northwestern State University where she obtained a bachelor of science degree in biology. She is a member of Eunice High School Alumni and is a member of the Tri-Sigma Sorority.
The groom is a graduate of Oak Hill High School and attended Northwestern State University. He is an Oak Hill High School Alumni, and a member of the Northwestern State University Sigma Nu Fratenity. He is employed by Universal Plant Services as a Millwright.
The couple have made their home in Woodworth.
