LaCombe, Saucier unite in Holy Matrimony
St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice served as the setting for a double-ring ceremony uniting Abigail LaCombe and Nicholas Ryan Saucier in Holy Matrimony.
The ceremony was held Friday, May 13 at 6 p.m. with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Paul LaCombe and the late Sally LaCombe of Eunice, and the step-daughter of Sonya Fusilier of Eunice.
The groom is the son of Don and Betty Saucier of Mamou.
The bride, given away by her father, was radiant in a softly-scooped neckline gown of ivory, lace and tulle. Her headpiece was a hand-beaded one-tier ivory veil. She chose Arabella cultured fresh water pearl drop earrings for the special occasion.
The bride’s bouquet was a traditional one of cream renunculi, ivory roses, peach Osiana roses, peach hypericum berries, and seeded eucalyptus, hand-tied with ivory ribbon, and adorned with the bride’s late mother’s rosary and picture.
A reception was held immediately after the ceremony at the La Belle Venue.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Ireland and have made their home in Mamou.
