Thank you for your detailed article on the front page of today’s (Feb. 18) Eunice News. You gave more information about the upcoming election and the Presidential Primary on March 5 than usual. I feel fully informed and ready to vote.

Candidates for Eunice mayor stated their cases in a forum at the Liberty Center as the March 5 special election nears.
Three of the four candidates, Scott Fontenot, Roland Miller and William “Bill” Thompson, spoke at the event Thursday. Candidate Tim Longman did not particpate.
Early voting for the March 5 election continues through Saturday.
The office is closed Sunday. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Persons must present picture identification with the voter’s signature.
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot has received several complaints in reference to stolen political campaign signs inside city limits at various locations.
“I know from past experience, these campaigns signs are expensive,” said Fontenot.
