March 24
Victory J. Angelle, 23, 122 Mes Amis Road, Lot 22, Carencro; bench warrant no insurance and two counts driving under suspension.
U.S. Senator David Vitter, R-La., Tuesday announced a decision by the Environmental Protection Agency to again grant an exemption for a repellent called AV-1011 that prevents migratory birds from consuming rice seed, a news release from Vitter’s office stated.

Jamil Mott, 19, 241 Camilla Ave., Eunice; principle to illegal possession of stolen things (felony).
Shane Ricky Prudhomme, 40, 1221 Rose St., Eunice; domestic abuse battery.
U.S. Senator David Vitter, R-La., announced Monday that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded a lease for a new Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Lafayette. The new facility will provide primary care and specialty care services to veterans in southwest Louisiana.
Eunice police think three men arrested for armed robbery Sunday are leading to arrests in recent home invasions.
Police Chief Randy Fontenot said,

Jairus John Bell, 19, 110 Boudreaux St., Eunice; armed robbery.
A two vehicle crash on La. 749 near Armory Road north of Opelousas has claimed the life 38-year-old Herbert Rideau.
This morning, shortly after 1:30 a.m.
Dr. Todd Pullin says the measles vaccine is safe and effective.
But the Eunice pediatrician said he leaves it to parents to decide whether or not to have their children vaccinated.
