The City of Eunice received a clean bill of fiscal health from auditors at Tuesday’s city council meeting.
According to the city auditor comparative analysis, Eunice improved its 2013 general fund balance– which showed significant improvement over the 2012 balance.

The annual Food Net Food Drive in Eunice is today at the Eunice Food Bank located inside Northwest Center on Samuel Drive. The food drive began at 5 a.m. and will continue today until 8 p.m.

An early morning, vehicle crash claimed the life of an Opelousas man and injured a Church Point man on Monday in Eunice.
No arrests or suspects have been made in the burglary of a local pharmacy– which has left the Eunice Police Department clueless after a weekend of investigation.

She thought that she was going to the Eunice Rotary Club’s annual Christmas party to hear her husband give a speech.
But the only speech made that night was when Rotarian John Pucheu announced the club’s annual “Citizen of the Year” award recipient.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for shoplifting arrests.
Eunice Police Department police reports confirm that as of December 6th, 2013, 12 people have been arrested and charged with shoplifting since December 1, 2013.

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
