Today marks the final curtain-call for the 44th season of The Eunice Player’s Theatre.
The troupe will produce its last scheduled performance of Alfred Hitchock’s “The 39 Steps”– which is an espionage thriller based on the 1935 film of the same name.
Friday marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, an event that conjures many images and emotions for people all over the world.
Often mingled with the murder of the nation’s 35th president are the words: “conspiracy” and “plot”.
The Mamou Police Department reported seven recent bookings into the town jail.

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
