Honoring veterans

Dozens of veterans and family members attended Monday's VFW Veterans Day ceremony at Post 8971 in Eunice on Monday morning.

On hand were veterans of every branch of the U.S. armed forces, including many who served in at least one of the wars the nation has been involved in since 1941.

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
