Horticulturist says not too late to plant a tree for Arbor Day

The third Friday in January is Arbor Day in Louisiana – a day we set aside to appreciate trees and plant them.

ECTEC Oil & Gas students earn first part of T-2 Safety certification

The Eunice Career and Technical Education Center Oil & Gas students are holding their identification cards and certificates of completion of the first part of the T-2 Safety Systems certification. EUNICE – Hard work and dedication paid off for the 16 young men enrolled in the Oil & Gas Production course at ECTEC. At the mid-term point, all 16 passed the first part of the strenuous coursework needed to earn their T2 Safety Systems certification.
