Mr. and Mrs. Gerald James Hardy Sr. of Eunice celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 27 with a renewal of vows and a reception.
Edith Scott Stevens celebrated her 99th birthday on Dec. 22, 2015. With joy and thanksgiving, family and friends gathered at her home to honor and shower Mrs. Stevens with love and appreciation.
“Move and Shake for MS,” a Zumbathon charity event, was a Eunice High School senior project hosted by seniors Shelby Duvall, Madison Dupre and Jillian Johnson. The event was held at the Northwest Pavillion on Nov. 21.
Eunice High School seniors participated and donated gift baskets to children at the Welcome House as their senior project. Delivering baskets were, from left, Lainey Fontenot, Summer Clark, Destini Thompson and Tiffany Vincent.
Students and faculty members at Central Middle School expressed concern for two Central students who recently lost everything in two separate house fires. Central Middle School Stars Taking A Real Stand collected household items and clothing and presented them to the two families.
