The Eunice Players’ Theatre announces the date for its 7th annual Children’s Workshop, which will focus on playwriting.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, July 11 at Eunice Community Art House, located at 213 South Second St.
On Thursday, Kirsten West, owner of Early Years Learning Center held an annual Fun Day in Remembrance of Jessica West, late owner/director of Early Years, on the 6-month anniversary of her death.

BATON ROUGE – June is time for figs in Louisiana, and many of the popular varieties around the state have come from a breeding program at the LSU AgCenter.

The Charles Drew High School Class of 1963 held its 52nd class reunion recently in Eunice. The reunion activities consisted of a meet and greet, a luncheon, energizers, night at the Apollo, talent and comedy show, dancing with the stars, brunch, culminating banquet and several other events.
