The 351 Walnut Avenue resident Dr. Donnie Barnes received the Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club’s marker Residential Yard of the Week presented by volunteer bulb member Pam Quirk.
These fifth-grade students from St. Edmund Elementary recently completed all requirements for the Cub Scout Arrow of Light award. This is the highest award that a Cub Scout may receive. From left are Ferdie DeRouen, Clayton Hebert, Philippe Soileau, Luke Vidrine, and Trenton Marcantel.
St. Edmund High announced its newest ACT 22+Club members. These students took the ACT exam in December and February and earned a score of 22 or higher composite. In front, from left, are Drake Brunet, Philippe Aguillard and Nicholas Moreau.
Eunice Baby Miss, Tiny Miss, Toddler and Petite queens were crowned Saturday morning. Also included as part of the contest divisions were Little Eunice, Deb and Junior Eunice Queens.

The Miss Eunice and Teen Miss Eunice contest, sponsored by Junior Auxiliary of Eunice, was held Saturday evening at the LSU Eunice Health Auditorium. Crowned 2015 Miss Eunice is Jillian Johnson, 17 year old daughter of Kevin and Lisa Johnson. Johnson is a junior at Eunice High School.
