Eunice High seniors Celeste Cormier and Amalfi Watley are selling raffle tickets for their Senior Project to benefit and raise money for Addison “Addi” Jones who suffers from a genetic disorder, known as Cri du Chat Syndrome. The 8-year-old Addi is the daughter of Ashley Jones of Eunice.

Aiden Thibodeaux, a kindergarten student at Richard Elementary, sits with Santa during the school’s third annual Toy and Food Drive. The Richard Volunteer fire department fire-fighters arrived on a “Santa Truck”--fire truck) to retrieve all donations from the students.

This week’s Student of the Week is Cameron Mire, a junior at Eunice High. His parents are Heidi and Kevin Mire.

St. Francis School’s Shepherd’s Ministry Club recently sponsored a Baby Bottle Campaign for the Desormeaux Foundation in which students collected spare change that totaled $316 to benefit unborn babies.
