Eunice High School winners from the St. Landry Parish Science Fair are listed below. They were in Senior Division:

The LSU Eunice LeDoux Library features its own unique Christmas Tree as it was crafted with its own books and trimmed with green garland, a string of “fake” light bulbs, and topped with a Santa hat.

The Acadian Medical Center Pink Ladies volunteers enjoyed a recent Christmas luncheon together. Pictured, in front from left are Diane DeRouen, Helen Tanner, Charlene Sittig, Alma Ortego, Doris Stagg, Myrtle Neville and Yvonne Perrodin.

Principal Dwanetta Scott at East Elementary holds a Flan Cake which was part of a fourth-grade learning unit. The Flan Cake was made by Title I Interventionist Tina Andrus. During their Reading learning unit students learned that this type of cake is popular in Cuba.

This week’s Student of the Week is Thelma Guillory, a sophomore at Eunice High School. Her parents are Dennis and Lisa Guillory.
