D.A.R.E. Essay winners named at Central Middle
Central Middle School students participated in a D.A.R.E. Essay contest and essay winners were named. They received trophies and certificates during the D.A.R.E. graduation held Dec. 8.
Fourth-grade winners of American Education Week contest
East Elementary School recognized American Education Week on campus with many different activities, educational activity sheets, coloring sheets, creative poems, and much more for students’ participation. At the end of the week, winners were named on their creativity.

Goodhope Place Apartments extended a “congratulations” to Barbara Leday as she was named the first-prize winner of a Christmas Decorated Door contest. There was also second and third place winners. Robert Edwards, Sr., won third; and Brenda Reynolds captured second-place, both not pictured.
