Acadian Baptist Center will once again host “Survivorman,” a two-day retreat for boys ages 6-12 and their dads. Boys will learn teamwork, first aid, navigation, and primitive cooking, as well as how to protect God’s creation, deal with bullies, and identify threats. The retreat is set for Sept.

On Aug. 17 the Junior Auxiliary of Eunice crowned Lynzi Trosclair as the new Miss Eunice to serve as queen for the 2016-2017 year.
