East Elementary honored its Accelerated Readers during sixth six weeks period of school. Pictured above are students earning 50 AR points. All students received a ribbon. In front from left are Kevin Ned, Kenslei Larose, Lannis Sambolan, Adian Thibodeaux and Joseph Fontenot, all second-graders.

The Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club recently donated two La. Oak Trees & had them planted on Park Avenue. Joyce Deshotel donated iron plants which were planted around the Oaks.

St. Francis School in Iota held their Eighth-Grade Awards and promotion ceremony on May 21. The above eighth-grade students were honored and recognized. Directly in front Mathew LeLeux.

Eunice Elementary students were recently rewarded NOOK Readers compliments of local Horace Mann Insurance Agents Larry Broussard and Beau Lemoine and Barnes & Noble as part of St. Landry Parish’s Read to Succeed program.
