Locals Horace Mann Agents Larry Broussard and Beau Lemoine donated NOOK Readers to SLPSB Read to Success program designed for second through fourth-grade students. Students, who read above their grade-level requirements, earned the chance to receive their own NOOK Reader.

Eunice Elementary students who reached their Accelerated Reading goal for the year were treated to a skating party held in Opelousas. The party was held at SKATE Z, where the children had the opportunity and pleasure of skating, playing video games, enjoying fun jumps and lazer tag.

In honor of patron, St. Thomas More (an attorney), St. Thomas More Church in Eunice will host a “Symposium on Faith and Civic Life, Thursday, July 3 - Sunday, July 6th. The Symposium begins this evening at 5:30 p.m. with a “Red Mass” in church in honor of all Attorneys and Judges.
