This week’s Student of the Week is Alli Sittig, a sixth-grader at Central Middle School. Her parents are Tammy and Clint Sittig.

If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in Florida, because it is very pretty there.

North Eunice Baptist Church sponsored its Vacation Bible School “Lifeway’s Agency D3 -Discover, Decide, Defend, 1 Peter 3:5” this week. Many children enjoyed Bible songs and readings, arts and crafts, games and activities, snacks and much more. Rev.

Caroline Vienne, a fourth-grader at Eunice Elementary, won first place at the St. Landry Parish Junior Mathematics Contest competition held in May. Vienne competed against 26 other parish students.

St. Francis School in Iota recently honored their eighth-grade class during the school’s annual awards ceremony held May 21. Principal Karol Howerton presents an Award of Excellence to Luke Foreman. Foreman is the son of Ray and Charlotte Foreman.
