CMS students participate at Fitness Rally
Megan Fontenot and Dustin LeBlanc, students at Central Middle School, represented their school at the St. Landry Parish Fitness Rally. Both students competed well, placing in four out of six events. Fontenot and LeBlanc earned 1st place overall in the sixth-grade division.
Eunice Nature Trail receives Orchid plants
The Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club display Rock Orchid plants donated by Debra and Paul Siebert at The Eunice Nature & Walking Trail. These type of plants help residing ducks in their nesting stage.
Eunice Elementary Gifted Renaissance project
Jay Owen Bourque, a third grader at Eunice Elementary, presented his Gifted Themed Renaissance Period project to his fellow classmates. His teachers are Katie Fontenot and Tiffany Pedigo.
Outdoor games and activities at FBC Vacation Bible School
Youngsters are enjoying a summer fun-filled week at Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church of Eunice. The themed program, “Lifeway’s Agency D3 Discover Decide Defend, 1 Peter 3:15” drew in kindergarteners through sixth-graders.
