Founder's Day Celebration
On the 83rd Anniversary of Beta Sigma Phi, the local chapter Xi Beta Theta celebrated Founder’s Day by progressing to the Laureate Degree. The Eunice chapter was chartered in March 1970 and for the last 44 years has shared the meaning of Beta Sigma Phi - LIFE, LEARNING, and FRIENDSHIP.
Highland Elementary students Maryanne Nicholas, third-grader; Kaylee Gaspard, second-grader; and Justin St. Julien, fourth-grader. were awarded with NOOK readers along with a $10 gift card from Barnes & Noble as part of St. Landry Parish School’s Read to Succeed Program.

McDaniel is chosen Bulb & Blossom Club Member of the Year
The Eunice Bulb and Blossom Garden Club presented its Member of the Year Award to Coopey McDaniel during their May meeting. She was selected for her dedication and hard work with the club to promote the beautification of our city.
CMS Teachers and administrators enjoy a barbecue meal during Teacher Appreciation Week
During Teacher’s Appreciation Week teachers at Central Middle were honored throughout the week. Barbeque with all the trimmings was provided for the teachers, courtesy of the administration and support personnel.
