KINDERGARTEN

Highland Elementary students celebrated Black History Month by uniting together as one body. The students took a Black History Walk around campus and then welcomed a special guest speaker, Ernest Jones of Eunice. Jones read some excerpts from Dr. Martin Luther King’s speech “I Have A Dream”.

This week’s Student of the Week is Abby Miller, an eighth-grader at St. Edmund Catholic School. Her parents are Brad and Tonya Miller.

If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I like where I live.
