Bishop Jarrell announces appointments

Bishop Michael Jarrell of the Diocese of Lafayette has announced the following appointments within the diocese, to be effective July 1.
The Rev. Kevin Bordelon has been appointed to the Office of Pastor of Saint Joseph Parish in Rayne for a term of six years. This appointment is in addition to his duties as Director of Vocations, Seminarians and Ongoing Formation.
The Rev. Peter Emusa has been appointed to the Office of Pastor of Saint Jules Church in Franklin and its mission of Immaculate Conception in Verdunville for a term of six years.
The Rev. Kendal Faulk has been appointed to the Office of Pastor of Saint Marcellus Parish in Rynella for a term of six years.
The Rev. Kenneth Mayne has been appointed to the Office of Pastor of Saint Peter Parish in Pine Prairie and its mission, Saint Theresa, in St. Landry for a term of six years.
The Rev. Cedric Sonnier has been appointed to the Office of Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Baldwin and Immaculate Conception Church in Charenton for a term of six years.
The Rev. Alphonse Thainese has been appointed to the Office of Administrator of Saint Ann Parish in Mamou and its mission Holy Spirit in Vidrine.
