Jack Burson, alderman at-large, said he intends to propose a motion to offer Slemco the city’s contract for electric service.
The Eunice Area Men’s Retreat planned a retreat at Our Lady of Oaks Retreat House in Grand Coteau. Would-be participants were asked to contact Don Mayeux to make a reservation.
Dr. William H. Buller, D.V.M., announced his retirement after 48 years of practice.
Melba Alfred won a ham at the Christmas social held at Goodhope Place Apartments.
The Eunice High Bobcats lost to the Ville Platte Lady Bulldogs 43-32. Ashley Edwards was the high scorer for the Bobcats with 21 points.
Derrick Chachere led the Blue Jays with 10 points in 69-38 loss to the Iota Bulldogs.
