Opelousas Woman Missing, husband sought
The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing person Sandra Tillet. Sandra was last seen near her residence of 499 Carrington Place, Opelousas, LA in July, 2013.
Captain Megan Vizena, spokesperson for St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, commented on the matter via press release issued on Tuesday.
“We received a call from Sandra Tillet’s daughter who is currently living out of state,” said Vizena. “She stated that she had not spoken to her mother in over 6 weeks and she was requesting that we go to her residence to check on her. On December 14, deputies made contact with Arthur Tillet, Sandra’s husband. Arthur Tillet was not truthful to the deputies about his wife’s whereabouts.”
“Arthur Tillet has not been seen or heard from since Sunday, December 15, 2013. As a result of our investigation, Arthur Tillet has been declared a ‘person of interest’ in this case. He is possibly driving a 1996 Honda Passport, white in color with one blue door, Texas license plate ‘1CDRM’,” Vizena added.
