Session on bullying
There will be a brief informational session for all interested residents of Eunice on Bullying/Cyber Bullying from 5:30 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Greater True Light Baptist Church, 341 E. Anne St., Eunice.
As we celebrate this Memorial Day amid argument over the proper role and place of statues and symbols, it might be useful to remember that the day was first meant to honor the Civil War dead.

Lee Earl Aucoin’s name is among the names inscribed on one of the monuments at the Veterans Memorial brick-courtyard, located at Park Avenue and South 2nd Street in Eunice.
Aucoin’s name is also associated with VFW Post 8971, Doucet-Aucoin, in Eunice.
