Eunice Main Street is soliciting Redevelopment Incentive Grant applications from downtown building and/or business owners. The Eunice Main Street program is able to offer two types of competitive grants: a $10,000 grant for major projects and a $2,500 grant for minor projects.

Two Eunice St. Landry Parish School Board members linked academic problems at parish schools as a reason why they joined an 8-3 vote to not renew the contract of Superintendent Edward Brown at a meeting Thursday.

The St. Landry Parish Registrar of Voter Office will be conducting voter registration drives Monday through Friday during Voter Education Week. The office staff will visit locations throughout the parish.
