Senior project bake sale set for Oct. 29
Eunice High seniors Jada Bordelon and Caden Treadway will have their senior project bake sale on Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Tractor Supply in Eunice.

Despite citrus canker the citrus crop looks good

As the weather in south Louisiana finally releases the summer temperatures, the request for citrus continues to increase.
Over the past few weeks growers in south Louisiana have begun picking and marketing their produce, said LSU AgCenter county agent Barton Joffrion.

WANTED: Jail and Bail prisoners

The Eunice Community Health Center needs a few hundred people to help it fulfill its mission to provide health care thousands of people.
And they are wanted for a Jail and Bail event at Ruby’s restaurant on Nov. 3.

The second Experience Louisiana Festival opened Saturday morning with nearly a redo of last year’s inaugural with crisp temperatures and a brilliant blue sky.
