Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame

The 2016 honorees chosen for the Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame were recognized April 30. Bill Richardson, LSU vice president for agriculture, fourth from the right, top row, said the 4-H program’s success can be attributed to the efforts of 4-H leaders and volunteers. St. Landry Parish woman is among 12 new members named to 4-H Hall of Fame

A dozen honorees were inducted into the Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame on April 30.
One of the honorees, Andy Loftus, of DeSoto Parish, passed away just days before the ceremony. His grandson, Andrew Montgomery, attended the ceremony to represent Loftus.
