Eunice trio make Santa's naughty list

Eunice Police Department officials said that officers responded to a residence after receiving a report of a stolen credit card and checks.
Upon arrival officers met with the elderly victims– whose ages range in their 70s– stated that several checks were missing from their check book along with a credit card and they knew who the suspect was.
The suspect was identified as their grand daughter Elizabeth Burruss, 21, of Eunice.
After filing the complaint officers interviewed the suspect as part of the investigation.
Burruss cooperated and allegedly confessed to officers that two of her friends, Brittany Dietz, 20, of Eunice, and Jesalyn Deaville, 20, of Eunice, were also involved.
The investigation revealed that the three suspects went on a spending spree at several local businesses and purchased items such as game consoles, cell phones, clothing, household goods, and fuel. Officers recovered merchandise purchased by the three from several homes.
All were booked into the Eunice city Jail and have bonded out.
The total of the unauthorized purchases was over $6,500. All three are from the Eunice area.
Burruss and Dietz were charged with unauthorized use of an access card and monetary instrument abuse.
Deaville was charged with unauthorized use of an access card.
