Eunice man charged with robbery, rape, kidnapping

A Eunice resident is accused of robbing and sexually assaulting a store clerk on Tuesday, then forcing her drive him to Marksville, where he was captured.
Quinton Williams, 33, has served a previous felony term, police said, theough they did not specify what that case was.
The Bunkie incident began about 11 a.m. on Main Street and ended when Marksville officers captured Williams on the bus parking lot at Paragon Casino.
The victim told police the suspect entered her store, and forced her into a back room where he raped her.
He then forced her to take the money out of the cash register and then take him to the Hampton Inn in Marksville.
She managed to escape from the hotel lobby, and ran for help.
A construction worker outside aided her in hiding back in the hotel and told police the direction in which Williams had fled.
The suspect was booked in the Avoyelles Parish jail. He is chargted with armed robbery, aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping. No bond has been set.
