Courville, Ardoin exchange vows during December ceremony
St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice served as the setting for the evening December ceremony uniting Shelli Rae Courville and David Paul Ardoin in Holy Matrimony.
The ceremony was held on Friday, December 27 at 6:30 p.m. with Fr. Dustin Dought officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the late Rayburn and Beatrice Courville, and the groom is the son of Timothy and Sandra Ardoin of Eunice.
Vocalist was Jolayne F. Miller and church lectors were Denise Bergeron and Kay Christ.
Gift bearers were Kelli Courville, Anna Thompson and Rose Benoit.
The bride, given away by her godfather James Vidrine, was radiant in a strapless, A-line fitted laced gown accented with a delicate beaded belt at her natural waistline.
She completed her wedding attire with a delicate laced bolero and wore a cathedral-length veil with laced and embroidered edging.
The bride carried a hand-held bouquet of ivory roses, winter greenery, and berries. Inserted inside her bouquet was a photo of her late father and mother.
Serving as maid of honor was Katie Fruge of Basile, and matron of honor was Megan Shaw of Mamou, both best friends of the bride.
Bridal attendants were Caitlyn Olivier, Amy Myers, Amanda McGee and junior bridesmaid was Victoria McGee.
The attendants wore one-shoulder beaded Taffeta floor-length charcoal gowns.
Serving as flower girl was Emma Myers, daughter of David and Amy Myers.
Ring bearer was Kaleb McGee, son of Shaine and Amanda McGee.
Best Man was Justin Matt of Basile, first cousin and best friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Jaimie Shaw of Mamou, friend of the groom; Boo Dies of Eunice, Klint Fruge of Sunset, and Clifford Carrier of Basile.
The groom wore a Vera Wang dark grey tuxedo and the groomsmen wore Vera Wang black tuxedos with matching grey vests.
A reception was held at the La Belle Venue in Eunice and the couple took a honeymoon trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
The couple have made their home in Eunice.
