Bobby Savoy

Bobby Savoy died on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:50 am at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. She was 89.
A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial was in the Old St. Ann’s Cemetery in Mamou with Father Albert Nunez officiating.
She was a Patient Representative and a Nutritional Consultant for Savoy Medical Center.
Survivors include three sons, Peter Savoy and wife, Cathy of Mamou, David Savoy and wife, Rhonda of Crosby, Texas and Jason Savoy of Mamou; two daughters, Cherry Savoy of Youngsville and Sunny Savoy and husband, Ernesto of Monterey, Mexico; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank P. Savoy, Jr.; her parents, Otis H. and Lyda Rawls; four sisters, Anna Margaret Naquin, Audrey Love, Weetsie Guillory, Annette Theriot, and one brother, Sonny Rawls.
