Police: Nothing to tie woman's death to Jennings Eight

Police are awaiting an autopsy report on how a woman found dead here Friday died.
Meanwhile, the internet buzzes with rumors that the Jennings Eight may now be nine.
Chief Cheryl Vincent said authorities have not yet established a number of things about the death of Lacie Fontenot, 27.
She was found in a shallow ditch near the tow’s water tower.
Authorities labeled the death suspicious but said they had no reason to link it to the unsolved killings of eight women whose bodies were founded dumped in canals and roadways in the Jennings area between 2005 and 2009.
