CHATAIGNIER-Funeral services for Loyd Fontenot,  83,  will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at  Mt. Carmel C. C.  in Chataignier, LA.  with the visitation beginning at 8:00 am until service time in the Mt. Carmel C. C. Hall.   Father Darren Eldridge will conduct the funeral ceremony.  Burial will be in St. Julian Catholic Cemetery in Chataignier, LA.
On Wednesday, April 27, 2016, in Lafayette, LA, Gabriel sounded his trumpet the Angels of the Lord took flight to Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA and escorted  Loyd from his earthly adobe to his heavenly home.
