Mary Elta Coleman

RYAN, LA ~ Visitation for Mary Etta Coleman, age 80, will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am with funeral services following at 10:00 am, both at Starlight Baptist Church, Rayne, LA. Burial will follow in the Rayne Protestant Cemetery with Rev. Ricky E. Carter officiating.
Mrs. Coleman passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at 9:00 pm at Lafayette General.
Mrs. Coleman was president of Acadia Parish Training School/Armstrong High School Reunion Alumni. She was a volunteer of the Second Harvest Food Bank at Abundant Life Assembly of God and a pianist for several churches in the area.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald W. Coleman of Crowley, LA; two sons, Tony D. Senegal (Evonne) of Texas City, TX, and Kenneth J. Senegal (Earleen) of Missouri City, TX; one daughter, Romy D. Coleman of Rayne, LA; one sister, Yvette Senegal of Rayne, LA; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charity Guidry; her father, Morris Senegal; one brother, Rodney Senegal; and grandparents, Jimmy and Laura Barkley.
Pallbearers will be: Dennis Thomas, Edward Nixon, Harry Guidry, Jr., Calvin Richard, Tony Senegal, Jr., and Joseph Beverly Jr.
