St. Thomas More Church Fall Festival starts Friday

The St. Thomas More Church Fall Festival is to start Friday at the church, 1011 Sittig Road in Eunice.
There will be plenty of fair rides for kids, youth and even adults. Fair rides are scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday; noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday; and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Fair armbands will be sold for $20 for one 4-hour period, or $40 for a weekend armband. Armbands will be be available for sale today, at noon, $40 each.
A 5-K Run will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. For more information, contact Carol Rougeau at 580-2916.
There will be children’s games, face painting by Lo Lo The Clown and Kona Ice will be on site.
There will plenty of good food on sale and dine-in gumbo will be sold and served. There will be frozen casseroles, barbecue sandwiches, chicken tenders, corn dogs, hot dogs, coffee, soft drinks, french fries, fried fish, fried shrimp, fried Oreo cookies, nachos, sausage po-boys, and shrimp etouffee.
There will be live entertainment for those who love to dance, and a live and silent auction. The live auction is set for 1 p.m. Sunday.
There will be Bingo from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The festival times are from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
