Cassie LeBlue

BASILE~It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Cassie LeBlue of Basile announces her passing on Sunday, October 16, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends in the comfort of her home at the age of 67. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Basile. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Deacon Michael Guillory officiating.
Cassie loved to cook, fish, drink coca cola, bingo, late night card games and Mardi Gras but most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Sadly missed but joyfully remembered by her devoted and loving husband of thirty six years, Jr. LeBlue of Basile; her four children, Jessica Guillory and husband, Tony of Elton, Oscar John Miller and Laura Thibodeaux and husband, Richie all of Basile and Jennifer LeBlue and Josh Hanks of Morse; two sisters, Priscilla Daigle and Greg Hebert of Basile and Ramona Fontenot of Basile; the ten joys of her life, Christian Guillory, Sarah Robertson, Dillion Miller, Kylie Pauly, Paige Bergeaux, Tripp, Jon, Lexie Rae and Allison Thibodeaux and Brantley Hanks and one great grandchild, Gemma Thibodeaux; as well as extended family and friends. This little lady has received her wings and is now soaring above looking over her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Elie Manuel Fontenot; four brothers, Fred ''B.O.'' Mike, Donald and Ronald Fontenot; two sisters, Ella Ruth Fontenot and Mercedes Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile on Monday, October 17th from 11:00 am until time of services. A Virgil and Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Monday.
